摘要 | To unravel Central Asian paleoclimate history and its forcing mechanisms, we launched the special issue of "Climatic and environmental changes in Central Asia" in 2019. A total of 29 manuscripts have been accepted, and they are divided into two volumes. The first volume mainly focuses on climate and environmental reconstruction in the Westerlies-dominated core area of Central Asia. The second volume mainly illustrates the tectonic-orbital timescale climate evolution of northwest China and deformation history of the northeastern Tibetan Plateau. |
