摘要 | An analytical method was developed for determination of(129)I and(127)I in vegetation samples. Iodine in the sample was separated by alkaline ashing followed by water leaching and solvent extraction. Up to 20 samples per batch and more than 20 g of each sample can be analyzed. A detection limit of 3.0 x 10(-17) g/g for(129)I was achieved. Grass samples collected from Xi'an and the sites in Qinling Mountains with 20-120 km distance to Xi'an city were successfully analyzed to investigate the effect of the sampling distance to the city on the level of(127)I and(129)I. |
